Out of Hours and Emergencies
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.
NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

New Extended Access Hub
Evening and weekend appointments are now available at our Extended Access Hub, which is based at Hall Green Health, 797 Stratford Road, Hall Green, Birmingham B28 8BG.
Pre-booked and same day GP, Nurse and Healthcare Assistant appointments are available, and may be booked by contacting reception at Swanswell Medical Centre. Please be aware that this may not be the same GP, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant that you would normally see, and walk-in appointments are not available. Appointments may also be booked by contacting the Extended Access Hub on 0121 325 5530 during their opening hours of 6.30pm to 8pm on Monday – Friday evenings; and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.
